Join Katie Hyde, of the Center for Documentary Studies, for a presentation on the exhibit, Literacy Through Photography. The exhibit features photographs and writings by students in the classrooms of Alison Edwards, Elizabeth Sims, Lee Washalefsky and Vanessa Barnes at the School for Creative Studies in Durham.

More than 70 sixth and seventh graders worked with Duke undergraduate students in Hyde’s class. In four distinct LTP projects, students bring their own visions to the study of literary characters, healthy living, creative entrepreneurship and the concept of injustice.

The exhibit will run from April 28 through June 13 on all three floors of the Main Library. For more information about this project please visit the following website.
